| Lani Sullivan - Director
After an extensive background
in senior hotel management with such chains as Regent
International Hotels, Ramada and Accor Asia Pacific, Lani
Sullivan joined the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic
Games as Program Manager for Accommodation, Conferences and
Arrivals and Departures.
Lani is experienced in
hands-on implementation of programming and service delivery
involving liaison with the IOC, 100 international and Australian
sponsors such as Coca Cola, IBM, and Visa, the 17,000
international media, the 200 worldwide National Olympic
Committees, as well as the 350 hotel General Managers involved
in the Sydney Olympics and Paralympics. Negotiating stringent
and detailed contracts and managing customer expectations were
an essential element in the success of the Games. The size of
the task was 1 million room nights at a value of over $220
million dollars.
Lani has been involved in
consulting to London 2012 Games during their bid process. She
also wrote the initial concept of operations for Doha Asia Games
2006 and is responsible for contracting accommodation and
program operations for World Youth Day 2008 which will see
approximately 150,000 pilgrims accommodated in Sydney in a wide
variety of accommodation styles from 5 star hotels to camp sites
including the setting up of “HomeSafe”, a home hosting program
in NSW. |
Peter
Sugg AMM - Director
Peter has an extensive
background in Venue, Hotel and Event Management.
He is a former board member
of the Brisbane Convention Bureau, and was the Chairman of the
Marketing Committee for the City of Brisbane in the lead up to
World Expo 88.

countries and is an accredited Meetings Manager with Meeting and
Events Australia (MEA). |
