It’s time to set up your team

  • The Local Organising Committee (LOC) is the lynch pin to winning a bid.

  • They must all be ‘singing the same song’ in order to convince the overseas head quarters that they have the right skill set to manage an important event.

  • The LOC will be comprised of individuals selected for their expertise in organising international conferences, meetings and relevant events.

  • The LOC must include at least one representative of the local association of the host country.

  • The LOC shall be solely responsible for appointing a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to manage the following aspects on behalf of the LOC

We can put together the Local Organising Committee if you wish.

A very basic Organising Committee brief would be as follows;

Overview
Association Conference with an extensive scientific program; delegates traveling from all over the world.

Brief
To select a suitable venue/destination both prestigious enough to attract delegates and reasonably priced enough to work within budget. To manage media interest in the event. To create a platform for public participation and involvement in a conference with robust scientific content.
